What does it mean when my trailer EBS warning light comes on?

An illuminated EBS or ABS warning light means the electronic braking system has detected a fault – commonly a wheel speed sensor, modulator valve, wiring issue or ECU fault. The trailer's braking performance may be reduced, so it should be diagnosed promptly. Our mobile engineers carry the correct manufacturer software to read the fault codes and repair the cause, not just clear the light.

Which braking systems can you diagnose?

We are trained on current common and specialist trailer braking systems, including WABCO, Knorr-Bremse and Haldex EBS/ABS platforms, plus ECAS electronically controlled air suspension. We carry the latest manufacturer diagnostic software and equipment on every mobile unit.

Can you programme and code EBS components?

Yes. As EBS/ABS fault repair and programming specialists we can configure replacement modulators, ECUs and sensors, calibrate ECAS height sensors and carry out full system end-of-line testing after repair.

Do you offer brake testing?

We check brake performance as part of every service and safety inspection, using diagnostic data and physical measurement. Where brake test evidence is required for your maintenance records we can advise on the appropriate roller or decelerometer testing.
